It bridges your vehicle’s 7-way RV socket to your trailer’s 4-way flat plug, so you can hook up trailers with standard lighting without rewiring. Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Curt trailer connector adapter. This is a seven-way RV style to a four-way flat. This adapter converts your seven pole blade style vehicle and connector for use with a four pole flat connector on your trailer. It's perfect for running power from your vehicle equipped with a seven-way RV plug to a trailer equipped with a four-way flat plug. This coiled cord stretches up to five feet long, and the coil design is really nice. It prevents the wires from dragging on the ground and getting damaged.
The unit is made from a durable molded plastic construction when it comes to the connectors, so they're fully molded so all the connection points are protected. They're designed to resist corrosion.It's a simple installation. The wiring harness plugs into your existing seven-way RV style connector. On this end it connects to the four-way flat wiring on your trailer. Again, when it's extended, you have up to about five feet or 60 inches from end of plug to end of plug.
Retracted, it's about 22 inches from end of plug to end of plug, and just the coil portion measures about six inches. It's really easy to store out of the way for when you're not using it. This is a brilliant product. I wish I had discovered it years ago (if it existed!) I used to have a long pigtail for my 4 way utility trailer. I was constantly trying to figure out how to keep it from dragging when not in use. The coiled wire also provides flexibility in length when turning corners. And when I'm not using it, it isn't exposed to the weather.
I have to say this is one quality product. I haven't used it yet however it is exactly what i need for my 8x30' camper which will be my permanent home on some land i own in a warmer climate. this is heavy duty wiring and plugs. fits the bill for me, i am so very happy i found this it will make my life easier, i thought i was going to have to rewire my trailer till I found this set. Just what I was looking for. Most of these are 36-48 inched. This one is 60 inches. Perfect for 4 down towing.

The cord is well made and fits snug but not too tight. tested it out today and works perfectly
