How much steering resistance does the ST59YR add? I don’t want to make tight turns harder in campgrounds.

That’s a good question, Betty, and one we get a lot. The Safe-T-Plus # ST59YR only provides centering force when the wheel is near straight ahead - it doesn’t fight you at full lock or slow turns.
On ZF IFS coaches, the steering remains light and responsive in parking situations. Once you’re back at highway speed, the hydraulic piston takes over and keeps the wheel steady against wind or passing trucks.
You’ll notice less wandering, but no stiffness when maneuvering. Have you noticed your coach pulling in crosswinds or just general looseness?
