No, it does not Julia and it's missing the circuit breakers too. To install the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter with Backup Alarm item # C57102, you'll also need the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers item # 5506.

Please note that any time your Jeep is placed in reverse, whether you are towing or not, the alarm will sound on the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter with Backup Alarm item # C57102. To have the same connector without the beeping sound you will want the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter item # C57672. This is the same 7-way and 4-way connector without the alarm. I do not have one or know of one that only beeps with the trailer connected.

Does your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee already have a 4-way connector and are you also needing a brake controller?

Jarred - Thanks! I already have a 4-pin and I do not need a brake controller. I do not want to have the back up alarm all the time. Does that change the answer you gave me in any way? Can you suggest the things I need please?

@JuliaC You're welcome! You'll need the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter item # C57672, which does not have the obnoxious beeping sound, along with the Wiring Kit item # 5506.

Jerred - sorry for multiple questions! I don’t think I need brakes. I live in New York and from what I read the GVW is +3000 pounds. The unit I will tow is: Hitch Weight 250 lbs, GVWR 2,346 lbs, UVW 1,763 lbs, and CCC 583 lbs. if I were to ass simple brakes, can you make a suggestion and send a link as well. Thanks!

@JuliaC No worries about the questions! I highly recommend adding a brake controller if your trailer has brakes. Your trailer weighs nearly half as much as your Jeep when it's loaded and you'll appreciate the extra help stopping if you ever have to slam on your brakes or slow suddenly. The best option is going to be the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR. This is a proportional brake controller that activates your trailer's brakes when your Jeep decelerates or stops. This will activate your trailer's brakes with the same amount of force your slowing or stopping with. The reason the Tow-Pro Liberty is the best option is because of its unique installation method where the only visible portion is the control knob that's about the size of a nickel. The main unit is hidden away inside your dash to be completely out of the way and out of sight. The included universal harness will you get you all set up.

@JerredH - Ok. I’ll get that too. And to be clear, no other wiring kits are required? It’s all inclusive. Right?

@JuliaC Do you already have a 4-way connector installed on your Jeep? If so you will only need the following parts to add a 7-way connector and a brake controller: Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR Curt Trailer Connector Adapter item # C57672 Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers item # 5506
