Will My Trailer Wiring Switch Over From My 2018 Chrysler Pacifica to My 2022 Pacifica?

Question:

I just moved my hitch from my 2018 pacifica to a 2022 pacifica. Thank you for providing the hitch hardware set. I am having a problem with the wiring harness which I also moved from 18 to 22. I dont have power to running lights. Turn lights are fine. I see the harnesses for the 2 are different. Do I need a new one? Thanks,

Hello Ben,

Glad you got the new hardware for swapping over your hitch, as you should never re-use the hardware since it stretches over time.

As you’ve noticed, the frame didn’t change between the 2018 and 2022 Chrysler Pacifica, but the wiring did. You’ll need new wiring for it to function properly. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK96FR will work across all trim levels, including Hybrid, Limited, LX, Pinnacle, Touring, Touring L, and Touring L Plus.

What do you mainly use the hitch and wiring for? Hitch mounted accessory, or light towing?

@KateF Unfortunately after I spent the time to remove old wiring harness and installing the new one,I have no power on any of the pins on connector. I have my 12 volts at module and good ground. Looks like module is defective. I am going to pull out tailight tomorrow to see if I have voltage to inputs of module when lights are on. Very frustrating as I need my trailer for work on Monday Ben

@BenF I am very sorry to hear this Ben, that would be extremely frustrating. You added the fuse to the power line to the battery right? Sometimes we tend to put that fuse down and forget to install it. Did you get things working over the weekend?
