This Curt hitch is built to handle real use. With a Class III rating, it’s rated for 4,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 400 lbs tongue weight, or up to 5,000 lbs GTW and 500 lbs TW when used with weight distribution. The standard 2" x 2" receiver opening works with most ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers, so it’s ready for towing small campers, hauling gear, or carrying e-bikes without needing adapters.
You get the strength of a fully welded steel hitch without the bulky look. The concealed main body keeps the cross tube tucked out of sight, giving your rear bumper an OE-style finish. Only the receiver tube shows, so the setup looks like it came that way from the factory instead of something bolted on later.
This hitch is designed for driveway installs. It bolts directly to the vehicle’s frame using existing attachment points—no welding or drilling needed. Precision robotic welding ensures that the mounting holes line up exactly right, making installation straightforward for a single person with basic hand tools and a way to support the hitch during alignment.
The steel construction is co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid Bonderite coating inside and out and finished with a high-gloss black powder coat. That layered finish holds up against road salt and moisture while keeping its shine intact. The open-back receiver design also makes it easier to keep clean after towing in dirt or rain.

This one is the latest of several Ive ordered over the years, for multiple vehicles. eTrailer is my Go-To place for a hitch. I cant seem to find a gently used vehicle I like, that already has a hitch installed. So Ill be back.
