Great price and smooth install. I will say the fish wire is necessary to install. I tried using other methods and they didn't work. I ordered the fish wire and it was very quick and easy. Would definitely recommend this product. The video for the install helped a lot. I also used ramps that I normally use for oil changes to get some more clearance under the car. These definitely made it easier.
This is the 3rd hitch I've bought from you. I just use it for a heavy duty bike rack and a wheelchair carrier which I use to haul lawn mowers and trash cans. The Pacifica install is a bit more complicated than most, but your instructions were very clear. I modified the trimming of the cover a bit, but that was my idea.
Perfect fit and relatively easy to install. It's estimated to be about an hour.
A lift, installed this one before, a helping hand, all your tools at the ready and don't plan to put them away when finished, no interest in cleaning while you're there and do your trimming of the mat and heatshield per the suggested measurements...then it may take about an hour. However, if you're like me, methodical, tidy and OCD won't allow for trimming that looks like a hackjob when you're finished, then plan on 3, hope for 2 and probably land somewhere around 2-1/2 hours from beginning until shower time.
I've posted some pics with some measurements for the mat where the hitch protrudes, and simply trim the flange off the heat shield, so you can avoid the hackjob look. You will end up with 1 original nut left over. Also, the install video doesn't touch on the passenger side, which is where it gets interesting. However, the install video for the 2021 Pacifica uses the same hitch and offers a little extra for the passenger side.
Hope this helps!

This one is the latest of several Ive ordered over the years, for multiple vehicles. eTrailer is my Go-To place for a hitch. I cant seem to find a gently used vehicle I like, that already has a hitch installed. So Ill be back.
My Curt trailer hitch went on nice and easy. No filing or drilling was necessary. The install took 1 1/2 hrs to complete. I only needed to remove a small amount of the undercarriage fabric panel to complete the installation. The directions show a much larger but unnecessary fabric removal area. This is easy to see and navigate through. The heat shield also needed less removal than shown. This is easy to see once you’re up in there working. I also was able to perform the installation without raising the vehicle. A couple fabric screws in the drivers side rear wheel well are easier to remove with the wheel removed, otherwise a pretty straightforward install. Note that the Curt hitch is rated for 400 lbs tongue weight but the Pacifica is rated for only 350 lbs tongue weight. Oh, and you will need a helping hand for about 10 minutes in order to lift the hitch in to place. Tell the wife to stop complaining and the sooner we get this hitch in place the sooner she can go shopping.
This hitch is a perfect fit and looks like it was OEM. The instructions called for cutting the under van panel along the full width of the hitch, but I found no interference and ended up cutting out only the area around the actual receiver.
Build quality is outstanding. Direction and install videos are a great help. BUT. My 2022 Pacifica has a bit different deflector pan. The heat shield is rivetted to the deflector. All came out in one piece, which is not a problem, just different from the videos.
The real problem came when trying to pull the bolt/washer combo thru the frame rails. There seemed to be extra "stuff" hidden in the rails, blocking the washer from passing thru. We wound up pushing the short washers up thru the square hole near the rear of the car, and holding them over the appropriate hole with a magnet, then fishing the wire and bolt thru and into position. The front bolt and washer went in fine. In the photo, you can see how little was trimmed out to clear the receiver. About 4" wide, and about 10" long.
All in all, I've gotta say the fish wires are a great idea.
I think you made need an update video to cover these couple of items.
Other than that, Nice Job!
Hitch fit perfectly exactly as described, fast shipping, detailed instructions, good prices, nice addition to my Pacifica van.
Thanks etrailer
Excellent product, excellent service
Easy to DIY install. Curt is always a good brand. Was delivered as promised from etrailer.com
Hitch looks and fits great. Tucks out of the way. Using to haul Ebikes. Very disappointed with the video where it tells you to cut the bottom cover 7” x 32””. You only need to trim about 8”wide. Even though it’s underneath it looks like a hack job and you did away with several fasteners.
Easy instructions and all that’s needs to fit easily.
I did modify the heat shield cut and undertrim to a closer fit
But great product and the bolt pull through wires worked great.
This receiver is exactly what I needed. Just a good solid receiver on back of a mini van for mounting Bicycle rack. It is very discreet as the bar is tucked up under the bumper. Simple installation, but a bit time consuming when you don’t have a lift.
We had it installed by an automotive shop. We have not had any issues, but we only use it for a bike rack.

My Curt receiver hitch arrived promptly and in excellent condition. After backing my Pacifica onto ramps, the installation was straightforward and fairly easy...only taking 2 1/2 hours. I especially appreciated the installation video on your website. Fit was perfect and the hitch receiver is barely visible. This is my third receiver hitch from Etrailer and I continue to be a very satisfied customer!
Hitch was quickly delivered in great shape. Installation was made easier after watching the install video on your website. Hides completely behind the bumper. Very happy customer!
Seriously great model and product. Looks OEM and installation 1-1 1/2 hrs with breaks in between.
Just installed it today so I can't review much. It fit and it's looking good so far. Ask me again in a week.
I bought this and installed it on a Pacifica for use with a wheel chair lift (not towing a trailer). The installation was pretty straightforward with good instructions. It’s been in use a year now with no issues.
Very easy install. the fishing wires are a stroke of genius. The recommended dimensions for the belly pan modification is excessive. I only ended up having to cut a 4" wide slot about 10" long to clear the receiver. Very happy with the installation as the cross tube is completely hidden behind the bumper and belly pan. Surprisingly the foot activated tailgate lift sensor still works even though the hitch partially blocks the sensor.
Fit great had no problems bolting on to frame. Wiring harness hook up with no problem's
Fit perfectly on a 2020 Pacifica AWD.
This isn't a difficult install, but a few things will make it easier if you know them going in.
1. The van needs to be off the ground a little to make it easier. I backed onto some 6x6 pieces of lumber I had sitting around and that made getting in under the van much easier.
2. The AWD model has the heat shield integrated into the underbody cover. That heat shield does not need trimmed at all for the hitch to fit.
3. When fishing the bolts through on the passenger's side of the frame, there is a gusset inside the square tube that will not allow the plate and bolt to pass through if the fish wire is inboard of it. It goes just fine if the fish wire is outboard of that gusset.
4. I found it helpful to put a kink in the fish wire, about 4-6 inches from the leading side to encourage it to bend downward so i could get it out of the correct hole.
5. When making the cut to thr underbody panel - Read and reference Robert's review from 8/26/2023 and the images of the cutout and dimensions. They worked perfectly for me.
6. The most annoying / challenging thing on thr AWD model is the muffler hanger. It's in a challenging spot and was a real PITA to get popped off. Your best bet is to use a squirt of some lubricant and a pair of channel locks with the upper jaw on the metal male part and the lower jaw on the rubber. Squeeze until the rubber pops off the end, then grip the rubber by itself and twist it off. Look for a YouTube video by Sweet Project Cars called "FASTEST WAY to remove rubber exhaust hangers... BAM OFF." It's 56 se ones long and shows this method perfectly.
Appears to be a quality product one year in. Instructions were easy to follow and no issues during install or using.
Hitch showed up with right side bent and unable to be installed. Called customer service and Noah was able to help.He told me to try and bend it back. I was able to put it in my vise and with the help of my son get it bent back and installed.Disappointed that it showed up like this as box didn't seem damaged bad enough to have caused this. But am glad Noah was able to help out on a Saturday and let me know how to repair it on my own and not have to wait for another solution.
Hitch fit very well & seems very well constructed. Good instructions. Thanks
Worked great on my 2022 Pacifica, I read the other review about issues getting the washer and bolt through. They are correct there is a split in the channel , if you send it on the bottom the washer will go through but not the bolt. But if you reach in the hole that you feed the washer through, you can feel the split . So feed the spring over the too , which is super easy , and works exactly like the video.whole process was an hour and half
