This fully welded trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your vehicle's frame with no welding required. Matte black, powder coated steel is durable and corrosion resistant and creates a rugged look.

Specs:
The sturdy steel construction is protected with a matte black finish for added durability. This unique powder coating gives etrailer hitches a carbide-like appearance and a rugged look that sets them apart from traditional glossy hitches. In addition to being rust and corrosion resistant, the tough matte coating hides dirt, scuffs, and dings better than a glossy finish.

Finally got warm enough to tackle this hitch. Went pretty well, but the dimensions they show on the sheet that came with the hitch are a little off (heat shield and bottom panel.) I could tell the guy in the video was cutting in places a couple inches off from the instruction sheet. I could have taken a little bit less off the heat shield and maybe moved the slot on the bottom panel over about an inch. For the bottom panel, I just forced it on there and after replacing all the screws, removed what was still interfering with a utility knife. I installed this by myself, with the help of a jackstand, and the Pacifica backed up on my oil changing ramps. I have attached a couple of pictures.
This trailer hitch receiver is about the fourth one I've bought from etrailer over the years. It has always been for the same model car. My wife and I have worked as a team and have installed all of them ourselves. We're now 86 and 82 years old. My wife hurt her arm and can't hold up her end of the hitch so when we bought the new car, it went from the sales floor to the body shop and the younger guys installed it. Best $65 we spent. It took them a lot less time to install it but it looks like they followed the instructions that came with it. I think I bought the last hitch in 2018 and the price doesn't seem to change very much. A very pleasant surprise.
I'm giving this four stars because the hitch itself rules. Install instructions were absolutely terrible. I've got a 22 Pacifica Hybrid. The instructions said to widen the holes in the frame. I didn't need to do that, instead I found another video than the one on this page that showed how to modify the mounting bracket for the emissions sensor, so I did that. Way easier than widening the holes. Then when I went to mount it, there was a random bolt that didn't line up with the holes on the hitch. I cut that bolt off and it went up no problem. I am very experienced mechanically and have a ton of tools and this took me 4 hours. I'd say if you don't have a fully stocked tool bench, pay someone to install this.
I have etrailer hitches on three of our cars. Easy install and good product
It works. It is sturdy and well built, but does not fit as easily on my Chrysler Pacifica 2022 as the videos would suggest. In fact, I had to grind out quite a chunk of it on the rear left side because it would not fit over the ground connection on the car's chassis. Once installed it has served us well but installation on our particular vehicle was a bit of a pain.
Everything, except one, was pretty much like your Youtube movie on a 2024 Pacifica. The bolt that secured the ground strep will not align in the drilled hole of the hitch. So I had to remove it while hitch was being tightened. A chisel was used to knock it off. Nice hitch.
Installed per instructions. Instructions for trimming under body could be better. Installed by myself. Had to be a bit creative holding up the hitch. It's a bit heavy.
It is a very solid hitch. It took about 4-5 hours to install and put everything back together. I encountered a small bolt from the cargo holder prevented attaching the hitch. I ended up just unscrewing the nut and snipping the bolt because there was not easy access to completely removing it. The fit is very snug and you almost have to put all the bolts on at once. This eould be a whole lot easier with 2 people and being able to have access to a mechanic shop to raise the whole car. But it was just me doing the work. It had to attach one side and make sure the nuts are just barely attached. Also needed to first attach the bolts toward the front of the car first. The bolts were a tight squeeze and will not go in otherwise. The provided fishwire came in very handy. Make sure when you remove them from the bolts tto unscrew them. I ended up reattaching them as i wrestled with the install. Hovever, the hitch had 6 holes and the Pacifica had 6 holes but only 5 bolts were provided and instructions were for 5 bolts. Overall it is a solid hitch but was difficult to install solo.
I purchased the hitch along with a bike rack on the same order. The associate on the phone advised that the two were compatible. Unfortunately, the rack shakes like crazy to the point that I don’t use it.
The receiver kit works just like their videos, perfect! Everything included is well put together and the videos make installation easy.
The instructions were good and the installation was quite smooth. I rarely use the hitch and when I do it has worked flawlessly.
Finally got the hitch installed on my Daughter-in-laws van. Glad my buddy had a lift. The best thing about the hitch is that it is heavy duty. The worse thing about the hitch is that it is heavy. Installation was straightforward. Instructions were a little unclear with regards to the bolt holes to use. The cut diagrams were off a little. Overall, five stars is earned with regards to the quality and strength of the hitch. The fit was perfect. I would buy it again.
This is a great hitch and installation was simple especially after watching etrailer's videos! I later installed another on my buddy's widow's van.

So happy to know our videos were helpful! And that is awesome of you to help out your friends widow. Im sure that doesnt go unnoticed or unappreciated by her either :)
The product was exactly as described. It seems to be of very high quality and still looks great. This is probably the 5th hitch I have purchased from this site and all have been excellent

It’s still performing exceptionally well, no rust!
Shipping fast and free. Nice product!
My wife wanted this receiver hitch installed on her Chrysler Pacifica for our bike rack, so we can travel with our bikes. We installed it in a few hours without a lift, but backed up on ramps.
The trailer hitch is great. The diagram for cutting the existing dust cover was very inaccurate. Installation is definitely a two-person job, but not difficult
Perfect fit easy install with (2) people highly recommended.

Love to hear it, Ronald! What are you going to be using on your hitch?
Good value, installed easily and fit correctly. After living with the hitch installed for a year I appreciate how it’s tucked up so when you go up steep inclines it doesn’t scrape the ground
I picked Etrailer hitch because they had a simple install video where I able to see the hitch on the actual vehicle. I trusted the product because it was their own. I easily even reached an actual person when I had a question. I have only used the hitch to haul bikes
Excellent product but the install video should be updated to show more passenger side, especially sequencing of the bolt installs into the frame
Think this is the fourth hitch we have purchased from you and all four have fit and performed perfectly. Your customer service personnel and prompt actions have been great. Thank you. The latest for our new Pacifica was more difficult due to the panels covering the bottom of the vehicle however your videos helped in that.

Perfectly, just like the other three we have bought from you.
After paying returns shipping for the wrong product. This one fit well and the instructions were easy to follow for installation. Highly recommend the video the company links to the order.
Product fit perfectly for my 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Instructions were a bit difficult to understand but the video provided through your website helped greatly! Hitch receiver worked well with our bike rack for our ebikes.
The hitch arrived on time and was in excellent condition. Thanks so much

I appreciate your honesty and the photos you sent in too. It's super nice for others to be able to read this and at the very least be on the lookout for the discrepancy you came across, too. Thanks Mark!
