Underbody panel must be trimmed before reattaching. No drilling through vehicle frame required for installation , Underbody panel(s) and/or fascia must be temporarily loosened or removed. Trimming may be needed to reattach panel or fascia. , Exhaust must be temporarily lowered for installation , Heat shield must be modified or trimmed for hitch installation

It is a very solid hitch. It took about 4-5 hours to install and put everything back together. I encountered a small bolt from the cargo holder prevented attaching the hitch. I ended up just unscrewing the nut and snipping the bolt because there was not easy access to completely removing it. The fit is very snug and you almost have to put all the bolts on at once. This eould be a whole lot easier with 2 people and being able to have access to a mechanic shop to raise the whole car. But it was just me doing the work. It had to attach one side and make sure the nuts are just barely attached. Also needed to first attach the bolts toward the front of the car first. The bolts were a tight squeeze and will not go in otherwise. The provided fishwire came in very handy. Make sure when you remove them from the bolts tto unscrew them. I ended up reattaching them as i wrestled with the install. Hovever, the hitch had 6 holes and the Pacifica had 6 holes but only 5 bolts were provided and instructions were for 5 bolts. Overall it is a solid hitch but was difficult to install solo.
This is a great hitch and installation was simple especially after watching etrailer's videos! I later installed another on my buddy's widow's van.
The product was exactly as described. It seems to be of very high quality and still looks great. This is probably the 5th hitch I have purchased from this site and all have been excellent

It’s still performing exceptionally well, no rust!
Good value, installed easily and fit correctly. After living with the hitch installed for a year I appreciate how it’s tucked up so when you go up steep inclines it doesn’t scrape the ground
the tow bar is of great quality. I'm well please with the e98903 receiver I ordered.

Think this is the fourth hitch we have purchased from you and all four have fit and performed perfectly. Your customer service personnel and prompt actions have been great. Thank you. The latest for our new Pacifica was more difficult due to the panels covering the bottom of the vehicle however your videos helped in that.

Great price straightforward instructions. If you’d like working with your hands, this is the way to go. I got a quote from U-Haul for a hitch. They wanted $600.
The hitch installed in 3 hours. the video was essential to helping out with the instillation.
Quality hitch with good instructions on how to install from etrailer.
Hitch fit fine. However my 2023 is different than what trailer has in there installation video. Ex: my heatshield is part of the underneath panel , not separate. Instructions for trimming did now match. I had to custom cut mine.
Hitch has worked great, glad I got it.

Hitch Worked well last summer, basically never used fall or winter. Hitch still looks nice as opposed to the curt unit on last car that began peeling and surface rusting after one winter (New England, dirt road, salt and other melting agents).

Still Looks great. Hard to believe it is 2 years old. Isnt used for heavy towing, bit it sees frequent in and out service all summer. No complaints and would absolutely buy again.
My wife wanted this receiver hitch installed on her Chrysler Pacifica for our bike rack, so we can travel with our bikes. We installed it in a few hours without a lift, but backed up on ramps.
The trailer hitch is great. The diagram for cutting the existing dust cover was very inaccurate. Installation is definitely a two-person job, but not difficult
Good quality. Fit was perfect. I like that it only requires a slit cut out of the lower cover.
I picked Etrailer hitch because they had a simple install video where I able to see the hitch on the actual vehicle. I trusted the product because it was their own. I easily even reached an actual person when I had a question. I have only used the hitch to haul bikes

After paying returns shipping for the wrong product. This one fit well and the instructions were easy to follow for installation. Highly recommend the video the company links to the order.
The actual hitch is very good quality. One small hole (that slips over a 10MM bolt could have been better aligned. Also the measurements on the directions for cutting the underbody panel were incorrect (by nearly 2").
The hitch itself is five star. However, two issues came up during install that made things difficult.
First, the hitch kit did not include hardware to relocate the carbon canister box on the driver side of the hitch. The hitch could not be installed without moving this box. A longer bolt was provided, but this did not make the carbon box secure. I was able to partially thread the longer bolt on the front of the box, but there was no room to secure the rear of the box at all. My van is a 2021 model, so maybe this issue is different for other model years.
Second, the 0.5” x 10” slit to be cut in the underbody panel was not the location described in the included directions. It actually needed to be 0.5” x 14” and about 2” different location than described. The point of reference bolt hole in the diagram was likely in a different spot for my 2021 model compared to the vehicle used for creating directions.
Works great. no issues. I just wish it was not so low.
