Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Running Light Circuit Not Active Curt Harness 2022 Chrysler Pacifica

Question:

I installed a hitch and wiring on my 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L. Your videos were just amazing and preparing me for the install. Question: Install was relatively easy but I have a problem. The brake lights, turn signals and flashers work perfect on van and trailer. However, the running lights work on the van but do not work on the trailer. What have I missed or done wrong? Please help.

First thing to check is for corrosion on the pins of your trailer wiring connector. Make sure the trailer's 4-way is clean and free of corrosion. Sandpaper fixes this pretty easy. Next try unplugging and plugging in the trailer wiring harness connections on the vehicle. Sometimes a pin just isn't seated properly.
