Question:
I just got a 2026 Genesis GV70 and it does not have a hitch or wiring for a trailer. Do you have these parts or do I need to go back to the dealership for them?

Hey Steve, congrats on the new SUV. We do indeed have those parts so save the trip to the dealership!
To add a hitch to your 2026 Genesis GV70, I recommend the Curt item # C37DQ. This custom fit class III hitch has a 2" receiver, a 3,500 lbs towing capacity, and a 525 lbs maximum tongue weight.
To control your trailer's lighting functions you'll need the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C59236. This connector will splice into your factory wiring behind your tail lights and provide you with a 4-way.
To round out your towing setup, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball item # e67DR. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball, with a 7,500 lbs capacity, and a fixed ball mount with a 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip.
What kind of trailer do you have?

It's just a small 4 x 6 utility trailer. Do you have a custom fit wiring harness? I'd prefer to use one of those.
