Replacement Spring for a Trailer Coupler

Question:
I have an old 5x10 trailer that has different size removable hitches, 2 and 2 5/8. These are similar to your Curt series hitches. Im in need of the spring that pushes the hitch open to remove from vehicle? If I could send a photo it would be perfectly descriptive.
