Hey Marclayton. I couldn't find anything with the 8527714001 you gave me. For a rear wheel holder that fits a Thule T2 Classic bike rack you can use the Replacement Fat Tire Rear Wheel Holder & Strap item # 7521568001. It's designed for wider tires but works just as good with normal sized ones.

I saw you were looking at the Replacement Non-Locking Ratchet Arm Assembly for Thule T2 Classic Platform Bike Racks item # 753357902. There isn't a way to just replace the gray release handle that's on the arm.

Where did you get the 8527714001 part number?

Good afternoon, the code is right on the gray release handle... It doesn't make sense for me to have to change the whole arm, since there's nothing wrong with it... No problem, I'm going to make the release handle in aluminum! Thank you very much...

@MarclaytonC How did this work out for you? I also have a broken plastic handle and can’t justify replacing the entire assembly (given it’s a 10 year old rack, now)
