Will the EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Fit a 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450?

Does this fit the EQS SUV 450+ RWD? Are there any modifications required to do to the bumper? Thanks.

Hey Wayne!

Yes, the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH94CR will fit your 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 and yes, there is some cutting of the bumper to get the hitch to fit - this is pretty common for hidden hitches though.

I was able to get my hands on the instructions from TorkLift so I'll send that to you in a separate email for you to see.

What do you plan on using the trailer hitch for?

@Wayne Happy to help out! It's worth nothing that you'll also need wiring and a ball mount (if you don't already have those). There aren't any custom fit wiring kits for your EQS, but you might be able to have a shop install the ZCI Wiring Kit # 119250KIT and you can use the etrailer Ball Mount # e66PR for towing since it has adjustable height.

@Ted Hey Ted. I'm sorry to say there isn't an online version of the instructions for the EcoHitch # EH94CR. They only exist as the paper instructions that come with the hitch. I can tell you this is what we call a "bumper beam" hitch. Meaning installation requires removal of the rear bumper and impact structure beneath. Removing the bumper is always the trickiest part, but once you get that off its pretty straightforward. You'll need a trim tool or other tool to carefully pry away the bumper. There are usually plastic fasteners that need to be undone, and it typically requires temporarily undoing a few sensors. You will have to trim a section of the bumper before it goes back on. The instructions will tell you specifically where to cut. With this type of hitch, we usually recommend professional installation and at least 2 hours of labor. Or if you are handy and comfortable with that kind of work, I'd allow at least 4 hours to get it all done. Let me know if you have any other specific questions about the install process.
