Question:
On my 2020 Ford explorer, will this prevent my hitch from sliding forward and backward when under a load. When pulling my 20foot boat the hitch seems to slide forward when I break and then slide back when I accelerate. Do you think this would eliminate the slip in the hitch.

Hey Jason. The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e38FV will stop any rattling or vibrations you're feeling that are transferred from your ball mount through your hitch. However, seeing as how you have a boat trailer I'm guessing what you're feeling is your surge brake actuator functioning as it's designed.
What kind of coupler do you have on your trailer? Does it look similar to item # 099-175-20 or item # T4500600.

Hey Jerred, I kind of assumed it was the surge brakes doing what they are supposed to do but was unsure. I have a coupler similar to the #T4500600 design.
