Some trunnion and round-bar style weight distribution heads have a slightly wider spread between the ears that bolt up to the hitch bar. Use this shim to fill any gap between the weight distribution head and the hitch bar.

It's really designed to fill any gap between the weight distribution head and the hitch bar.It fits certain Pro series, Draw-Tite and Reese weight distribution systems. To see a complete fit list, you can refer to the product page at etrailer.com.Now, this shim measures 0.042 inches thick. You get one shim with the part number. Edge to edge, going this direction, it measures about 5 5/16ths of an inch and then edge to edge going this direction, measures two inches and it is covered with a limited lifetime warranty.That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement shim kit for heavy duty and high performance weight distribution systems..
I had to cut spacer in half then put the two factory edges to each other then slip them in head in order for spacer to work. I could have made that at home and saved $[XX]. Doesn't work on a Vevor 1500 hitch.

Took a chance on this or use washers that I was having a hard time on getting them thin enough but reason for getting was the head mounting to the shank was loose didn't move much but enough to make me wonder if it would wear so I bought the shim and it tightened up perfect on shank no more wiggle between the two parts
After searching for this obscure part ALL over the internet, I finally found it at the "A" place. The price was reasonable, however it was sold through a 3rd party, and the shipping time would be 1 to 3 months. I just happened to find your website, searched for the part and ordered it. It was here within a week (might have been sooner, but I was away for several days). I had it installed within a minute and now my trailer hitch is secure, and we are going camping this weekend. I bought these to take up slack between the hitch head and shank. Perfect thickness. They were too long to fit the hitch I had. So I cut them to length and redrilled the holes. Perfect! My hitch is not the cast head and that is what these are for. I'm sure they would have fit in one of those. I modified them instead of sending them back because of the time issue. They worked perfect and I would order them again.
