Hi Lazer, Thank you for your response and providing the requested information. Yes, adding weight at the rear of a light-duty vehicle is a concern I have. I would be using the hitch occasionally for a bike rack, as well as pulling a small lightweight open utility trailer.

@RichR You're very welcome! And I hear you about not wanting to add too much weight to the back of your Crosstrek. If you are starting to have sagging issues with your bike rack or when towing your trailer, we do have the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle # CSS-1125R. These will help beef up your rear suspension a little bit, but not enough to mess up your ride.
