Question:
I store my camper in a shared lot. Will this storage box help prevent someone from walking off with my bars? or is it still easy to do so

Hey Kris, the MORryde EzStor - Bolt-On Storage Bracket for Weight Distribution Hitches # MR62ZV adds some peace of mind, yes. The open cradle design doesn’t lock the WDH shank or bars, but it does make them a lot harder to just walk up and grab, and they'll stay off the ground there.
For added security, consider a small cable lock looped through the handle slots or a pin lock like etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches # e98881. This will keep the WDH shank locked to the storage brackets.
