This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello neighbors and friends, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Triangle ST235/85R16 heavy duty radial tire with a nice 16 inch mod silver wheel, and it's an 8 on 6 1/2 inch lug pattern, load range G. Now folks, this tire and wheel assembly is perfect for your stock trailers, utility trailers, and camper. The Dexstar silver steel modular wheel is durable and has a nice silver powder coat finish on front and back, and that's over their E-coat primer. It's gonna be super rust resistant. And the Triangle heavy-duty tire here is a ST, or special trailer, radial tire.
So that means that it's going to, one, couple the strength of both a bias ply and a durability and stability of the radial, but more importantly, it's created specifically for trailers and not intended for use on other vehicles. The all-steel belts here inside the tire design and everything are gonna enhance the durability and extend the tread life, while the computer generated tread design and premium rubber compound material will offer superior traction in both wet and dry conditions. It's gonna meet all DOT specifications, and like I said, it's a silver mod. The mod is these holes on the outside, that's the design. The pilot diameter is a 4.90 inch wide diameter.
Again, it's an 8 lug on 6 1/2, so the 6 1/2 is center to center straight across two studs whenever you're measuring a even lug pattern. Now with this, you can use both a 1/2 inch by 20 thread wheel bolts or 9/16 by 18 thread count wheel bolts. The wheel itself has a capacity of 3,750 pounds, while the tire itself has a load range of 4,400 pounds at 100 PSI, or 110 PSI rather. The maximum speed is 75 miles per hour or a speed rating of L, and the load range is a G range or 14 ply tire. Comes with an amazing two year limited warranty on the wheel itself and an awesome one year worry free guarantee on the tire itself from Triangle.
Folks, this again is a great look at our Triangle ST235/85R16 heavy duty radial tire with the 16 inch silver mod wheel. I'm Steven, thanks so much for your time, thanks for watching, and stay safe on the road.
