Question:
Hi, How are you? I am trying to install electric brake controller for my toyota sienna 2004. On your web site, 2004 sienna is not included in pull-down menu. Which controller is best suited for my van if there are any. Thank you for your help.

Brake controllers are not vehicle specific, so it is a matter of personal preference on which controller you choose for your 2004 Toyota Sienna. I recommend using a proportional brake controller. A proportional controller will activate the trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action.
The Tekonsha Primus, part # TK90160 is an excellent controller at a great price that would be an excellent choice for you unless the trailer you're pulling has an electric over hydraulic braking system. For a trailer with electric brakes, the Primus would work well.
To install the controller, you'll need a Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. The kit contains everything needed to install the controller, but the vehicle will need to be equipped with a functioning 4-pole connector like part # 118304, if it doesn't already have one.
I have attached a link to the instructions for the ETBC7 kit, as well as to a video showing the kit being installed you may want to check out. Even though the vehicle shown is different, the installation on your Sienna would be very similar.
