Can I carry two spinning rods instead of fly rods?

It depends on the rod and reel size. The RodVault 2 Carrier for roof racks # TH34FR23YR is optimized for fly rods, but we’ve had customers like Leo from Tampa carry 7’ and 7’6” one-piece spinning rods by removing the interior foam guides. The key is reel clearance and diameter; if your spinning reels are smaller or medium-sized, they should fit. Let us know your exact reel model and rod handle length, we’ll try and test fit one here!
If you have more than 2 spinning rods, or your spinning rods are larger than normal, you may have better luck with the Yakima TopWater Rooftop Fishing Rod Carrier - Locking - 8 Fishing Poles # Y04088.
