What Parts Are Needed To Power a CPAP Machine with 12v Power?

Updated 08/07/2025 | Published 07/15/2025

Question:

I understand that it is a charging station but can it also be used to power a CPap machine if I have the correct adapter for my machine?

Hey Tom,

You are correct in that the # DG61030VP is a charging station, but it's only going to output 12v where your CPAP requires 110v power.

The easiest way to get this is going to be by getting an inverter like # 34282692 which will wire to the 12v battery on your vehicle/trailer, and gives you an outlet to plug your CPAP into. Most CPAPs only pull 60-90 watts, so this 400 watt inverter will give you plenty of power for just the CPAP.

If you have other things you're needing to power too, let me know and we can see if a larger inverter would be better for you.

What are you installing this in?

Hey Tom, Did you get a chance to try out the inverter for your CPAP machine? I'm curious to know if it worked well for you. If you need any more help or have other devices to power, feel free to reach out!
