Screws Needed To Attach 5/8" Treated Plywood To Aluminum Snowmobile Trailer Frame
Question:
I have a 8 x 10 snowmobile trailer in which Im replacing the wood. I need screws to tie the wood to the aluminum trailer. The ones I took out are 1/4 with a wafer head. What would you suggest I use to hold the plywood down. Im using 5/8 marine treated plywood. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
You will want to use the 1-1/2" Long Torx Floor Screws # TF01150 to hold your 5/8" marine treated plywood on your snowmobile trailer. These screws are the same 1/4" diameter you removed from your previous flooring. They are 1-1/2" long as that is the shortest size we carry since the end of the threads are tapered with cutting surfaces to cut into the 7/32" pilot holes you will need to drill through the plywood and into the aluminum floor structure.
