Question:
I have a 2012 tacoma with factory 7 pin connector and it has a square plug coming from the truck harness. Your replacement kit shows a round plug. do you offer ones with a square plug? Or do i have to cut both connectors off and solder them together.

Hey Michael. It sounds like you're going too far back. The Reese Replacement 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector item # 85219 connects to your factory 7-way right behind the one you have now. You don't need to go all the way back to the square connector. Item # 85219 plugs into what's called a USCAR connector.
Why are you needing to replace your 7-way connector?

i was trail riding and the 7 pin connector was ripped off the truck. and it separated the harness at the square plug close to the spare tire.
