Recommended Roof Rack for a Jason Fiberglass Cap

2008 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab LE with cab nerf bars and intellitrac in the bed. There is a Jason fiberglass cap on the bed without rails or internall bracing. Goal is to have a tent system over the Cap! Are there any ladder racks like the Ericson that would allow me to keep the Jason cap? Any other suggestions?

Hey Paul none of our ladder racks like the etrailer item # e78FV will work with your Jason fiberglass cap. They occupy the same real estate on your 2008 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab. I've got a better solution though. I recommend the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells item # Y02-480B.
The Rhino-Rack item # Y02-480B is almost identical to the system you can purchase as an accessory for a Jason fiberglass cap. The included tracks will bolt directly to the roof of your topper. The included 54" long crossbars have a 220 lbs capacity.
I checked Jason's now Ranch Fiberglass Caps website and it looks like all of their toppers can be outfitted with a set up like item # Y02-480B. What model is your truck cap?
