Question:

What model of class lll 2” trailer hitches do you offer for a 2017 Honda CRV? Which models require trimming of the rear facia? Thanks

Hi Doug!

We have a few Class III hitch options available for your 2017 Honda CRV. All but the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 76128 will require trimming of the fascia, so if you are wanting to avoid that it will be the one to go with. However, it will be more visible once installed, as seen in the picture I have linked.

If you aren't worried about a little trimming, the Curt # C13397 would be much more hidden. If it were me, I would go this direction as it is more of a "stock" kind of look. And The Curt is American made!

What are you planning on using a hitch for?

@Doug Either option would work perfectly for a bike rack. If you are going to leave the bike rack installed most of the time, I would probably go with the Draw-Tite as the more exposed design wouldn't really matter at that point. If the rack isn't going to be in the hitch all the time, I would then go for the Curt
