This was my second purchase from etrailer after my first went so well. The box arrived damaged from the hitch busting it's way out of the cardboard, but there was no damage to the hitch. Just a scratch or two. This is the perfect hitch for my '24 Kona Electric. Not planning on doing any towing with it but it's nice to have if I need to pull something small in a pinch. This will mainly be used as a mount for a bike rack. Most of the hitch is tucked away behind the rear fascia with just the receiver tube visible. Install was a breeze; just a few 10mm nuts and some reusable plastric trim clips and the rear underbody shield comes right off. Although two of the clips were shaped like 10mm hex nuts, so don't let that throw you for a loop. They might unscrew but I decided to just pop them loose with a small pry bar. The hitch bolts right on, but it wouldn't hurt to have a second set of hands when first lifting the hitch into position since it's a little heavy and awkward, and make sure you get all six bolts started before you tighten anything down. The threads are pretty fine and it's easy to crossthread them if you're not careful. It's probably best to tighten the two bottom bolts first before tightening the four side bolts. I used a little medium strength thread lock in addition to the included conical toothed washers. I used painter's tape to mark my lines to cut the hole in the underbody shield. I used an air-powered cutoff wheel, but the plastic is pretty soft so a small rotary tool or even a strong pair of scissors might do the trick. I attached pictures of the measurements I used; view from top>down (the inside of the shield). I made sure everything lined up when putting it back together and that was it. I like how easy the install was and how the hitch uses the existing space so only the receiver is visible.3309502
The product itself is excellent. Easy install, clear instructions, good fit. The packaging was terrible. No padding or protection other than the cardboard box which was heavily damaged. So many scratches I had to repair the whole hitch. How hard would it be to put in a little padding?3422239

Still need to package your hitches better. I’ve complained for years that trailer doesn’t adequately protect the hitch doesn’t shipping. Can you invest in some bubble wrap? UPS gorillas use their forklifts and other destructive means to ship your product. Box is always damaged and I always Jane to fix a bent or scratched hitch. I’m not the only one who has complained. Your products are great if just once they would arrive safely.3175044
