Question:
I would like a Redarc broke controller. I have a 2008 tundra and it keeps telling me it won’t work with my vehicle. Any help would be great. It’s supposed to be pre wired for a controller, so I’d imagine I’ll need a harness as well. Thanks.

Hey Jason! Our fitguide can be a bit finicky sometimes, sorry about that. You can definitely use the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller in your 2008 Toyota Tundra. Since you have factory wiring and it is pre-wired there will be a port under the dash. The # RED98CR comes with the custom wiring harness for a plug and play installation.
If you did not have any kind of factory wiring or brake controller port the # RED52VR you were looking at would have been the right part number. You may also want to pick up the switch insert panel # 331-TPSI-002 which will fit the blank switches in your Tundra.
What kind of trailer will you be towing?
