Question:
Im looking for a high-quality wiring harness for my 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited. Your ion process does not identify the hybrid, which, given the battery configuration, may be a different layout than your non-hybrid based install video? What would you recommend?

Hey Travis. The trailer wiring for the 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is the same as the standard Highlander. The difference in which harness to choose will be impacted by whether or not you have the tow package.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness item # 118449 you were looking at fits all models of the 2013 Toyota Highlander without the tow package. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs in underneath the spare tire compartment. The only difference is that with the hybrid model, the harness is in the same location but the panel covers the battery storage area.
If you have the factory tow package you'll want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # 56042. The connector you're looking for is located in the rear cargo area behind the driver's-side interior trim panel.
I have linked installation videos below for both parts so you can see how to get them set up.
Do you already have a hitch? If not I recommend our etrailer item # e98858, which also fits the hybrids.

I don't see the installation videos referenced.. 2013 Highlander Hybrid four wire connector is still a mystery as to location.. No factory tow package installed

Hey Travis, did the wiring harness you chose work well for your Highlander Hybrid? I'm asking to see if it helps others with similar setups.
