For trailer wiring, there is not a difference between the hybrid and non-hybrid model for your 2018 Highlander. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118449 is the correct fit for all styles of Highlander including the Hybrid. I've attached a video of the installation to assist.

If you have the tow package then there is already a converter under the dash and you would simply need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 56042 to connect to your factory wiring harness. I don't believe Hybrid models have the tow package but I can't get a definitive answer on that.
