Will the Dometic RV Furnace # DMC72ZR Replace My Dometic Furnace Model Number 942?

Question:

HI there we have a Trailer with what we are told its a Dometic Model 942 40000 BTU Furnace. looking at your webpage it appears its a DMC72ZR. Did they update the model code? this is from a 2020 trailer/ maybe built in 2019. Also i see you ship to Canada and your prices are in USD. do you know if this is subject to Tariffs or dutys? and if so how much?

I believe that the # DMC72ZR is the same as your 942. Dometic Model 942 is likely an internal or legacy model number.

The Dometic RV Furnace - Propane - Automatic Pilot - 12V DC - 40,000 Btu - Doorless # DMC72ZR is listed as 40,000 Btu, to ensure that it is a direct replacement you will just want to confirm the measurements: 20" deep x 9" tall x 16-1/2" wide.

As for the cost, the Canadian standard at checkout will be the price to get it from our warehouse to your front door.

Ok thanks so the price i see is the price i pay in USD so just subject to exchange rate on my end. there wont be tarriffs or dutys. its for a trailswest enclosed skidoo/ Sled trailer. its a 2020 Trailswest Chris Burandt edition. i dont have the exact measurements of the unit right now as its built into a enclosure. all i am told is its the model 942 Dometic from Trails west. looks to be the exact unit you have listed in question.

@JustinR My past orders with my Canadian customers has made it to them just fine without an additional cost, but they items were usually smaller. I just asked to double check, our Canadian Standard will pay to get it to the border, once at the border it is up to your Postal Service if they will charge extra or not. I would reach out to your Postal Service to if they will give you an additional charge. The Dometic RV Furnace - Propane - Automatic Pilot - 12V DC - 40,000 Btu - Doorless # DMC72ZR weighs 35.5 pounds, since the dimensions of the unit is 20" deep x 9" tall x 16-1/2" wide, the box will not be a whole lot bigger than that. I wish I had a better answer for you on the shipping, with everything that is currently going on, and I do not have a direct answer. From everything I am seeing on my end, this is the direct replacement.
