To replace your Atwood 8940-111-DCLP, you will want to go with the Dometic RV Furnace - Propane - Automatic Pilot - 12V DC - 40,000 Btu Black # DMC48RR (or White Door # DMC68RR, or doorless # DMC72ZR). This is going to be your best replacement, the only difference on the size is this Dometic is 16 1/2' wide, and your current Atwood is 16".
It matches your current 40,000 BTU rating, so you’ll keep the same heating capacity your Holiday Rambler was built around. It also runs on 12V DC and propane, so it ties right into your existing LP and electrical setup without needing to rework the system.
