Will Seaflo Diaphragm Pump part # SE24FR Have More Water Pressure than 3.0 GPM Pump

Updated 09/08/2025 | Published 06/06/2025

Question:

The SE24FR pump has a flow rate up to 5.0 GPM with a pressure of 60PS…does that mean the pump will provide an output with maxPSI of 60, or the pump will shut down with pressure above 60PSI? I am looking to replace a 3.0 GPM pump on our duel suite RV, flow is extremely low even with 45 PSI input from water connection.

Hey Mitch, the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump part # SE24FR has a max output of 60 psi. It can provide pressure up to that high but it does not shut down or anything at higher pressures as it can get to a higher pressure. This can put out 2 more gallons per minute than what you have now so it would be an improvement for sure!

Hey Mitch, did the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump work out for your RV? I'd love to hear how it improved your water flow since it offers more gallons per minute.
