Question:
What size tap do I need to clean the bolt holes on a 2011 Honda CRV? I see some feedback that a tap is used on rusty holes, but no one mentions the size. Thanks.

Hey Terry! Before using a tap we do recommend trying to clean out the holes. Typically this is enough to be able to install the bolts and you don't risk messing anything up. I attached an article below which covers that process. The bolts used to install the # e39AR are M10x1.25 so the corresponding tap will do the trick if you go that route.
What do you plan on using the hitch for? If you plan on towing make sure you also get wiring # 118427 along with a ball mount # e77DR for a complete setup. If you need anything else feel free to reply below.

Hey Terry, did the M10x1.25 tap work for cleaning the bolt holes on your Honda CRV? I'm curious to know if the process went smoothly, as it could help others facing a similar task.
