Question:
Im shopping for trailer hitch for my Honda CRV 2011. It seems like you offer four different models. Which model is the lightest in weight. Im not asking about towing capacity or tongue weight. The actual weight of the hitch itself. Im shopping for a lighter weight hitch so that my vehicle handles better and I get the best gas mileage. Can you help me find out how much the different hitches weigh?

I'd be happy to help!
All of the hitches for your 2011 Honda CR-V weigh relatively the same when it comes to the different classes, and while the Class I hitches definitely weight lighter I recommend using a Class III hitch since they have a 2" receiver and can handle a wider variety of accessories. Out of the hitches listed below I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch # 75547 since it's a Class III hitch with a weight of about 27 lbs.
Here are the rest of the hitches:
Class I
Draw-Tite - # 24792 - 12 lbs
Curt - # C11555 - 12 lbs
Class III
Draw- Tite - # 75547 - 27 lbs
etrailer - # e39AR - 29 lbs
Curt - # 13555 - 30 lbs
I'm attaching a few installation videos and instructions for you to check out. Since the heaviest hitch weighs in at about 33 lbs I can confidently say that adding a trailer hitch won't be affecting your gas mileage significantly enough to go with a Class I hitch over a Class III hitch.
