Hey Edward,
A great hitch option for your 2015 Ford Explorer is # e98867, etrailer Class 3 hitch. With a simple no drill installation and 4,000lb capacity this is a solid hitch for you. For a simple plug and play wiring harness I recommend the Curt # C55341. I have gone ahead and attached a hitch installation video for you to get a better idea at the install process for this hitch.
This is going to get you set up for your basic trailer lights. If you are wanting to tow a trailer with brakes you will need to upgrade to a 7 way plug with a brake controller.
What are you looking to use the hitch for?
