Question:

Hello I need a trailer hitch for a 2012 Volvo S80. I see versions for Volvo S60, and XC70 and am wondering if those fit. Please recommend options for me. Thanks. I also saw that Curt discontinued a class 2 version that may have worked 12287. Thanks for the help.

Hi Kyle,

With the Volvo S80 being discontinued in 2016, finding a custom fit hitch is proving to be difficult. I saw that you ordered the Draw-Tite # 75916 and I am pretty sure it isn't going to work due to the different sizes of the vehicles it is designed to fit. There is a possibility it will work though, and if it does, please let me know.

If it doesn't end up working, you would need something like the Buyers Weld On Receiver # 337RT25806B. This would then need to be taken to a local fabricator to have something built for your S80.

What are you planning on using the hitch for? I might have a different option than a hitch.
