etrailer came thru again. Very quick delivery of the exact item I. Needed; a trailer hitch for my 2019 Acura RDX. The hitch arrived in perfect condition but the box that it was shipped in took a beating. Looks like along the way someone added wrapping tape to keep the product from falling out.
Expands from under the bumper a little bit more than I would like, but this is price you pay for having the spare wheel placed in so close proximity to the rear bumper. Handsfree sensor does not work unfortunately.
Installation is straightforward, but tightening of bolts was very hard.
Great receiver considering all the limitations of the car. 5 stars.

The fit and finish is great, and after 1 year of winter salt, there is no sign of corrosion.

Looks great, easier to install than expected. Have a '25 rdx a spec. Didn't have to lower exhaust or lift vehicle. Just needed to tilt the hitch bracket and slide it in place. Very happy with.
I used it to pull a big fully loaded uhaul across country. no problems. have now been pulling the side by side on its trailer with this hitch - stands up as expected. and the rust coating is awesome as no ugly rusted hitch on my SUV. thanks etrailer!

Works well after 1 year
The hitch works great but it does stick out father from the rear car bumper that the last one I had. Now the bike rack is even farther from the car.
Installing this requires removal of spare tire from undercarriage of Acura RDX 2019
I buy a lot of hitches for different vehicles. This was the easiest hitch ever. Watch the install video, the guy gives tips that saves time, and cuts out dropping the exhaust. SUPER time saver, installing the wiring took longer.
I'm 64 yrs old, bad knees, and I did it by myself, super easy.
The hitch I ordered arrived very quickly and was not hard to install on my car. The installation videos that etrailer has as a reference were very helpful. I already drove on a trip using a cargo carrier on the hitch and everything was great.
Perfect fit lowering the exhaust was a little difficult releasing the rear hangers, lack of room to work in. Finished install looks great… 2025 Acura RDX Advance…. Requires lowering the spare to install & spare fits right back in place no interference from hitch
Perfect fit on our 2022 Acura RDX. Just had to lower and remove the spare tire and we used some car ramps to raise the back of the car about 6 inches or so. Did not have to do anything with lowering the exhaust. Just put it in position and then rotated the hitch into place and secured it with the bolts and washers. 60 foot-pounds of torque. Bought a $20 torque wrench at Walmart for this task and now I own a torque wrench.

One year later and everything is still looking and working just fine. We use the trailer hitch to mount a bike rack for our 2 very heavy ebikes 80 pounds each.

Hitch is very good quality but the width was approximately 1/2 shy. I bought some extra washers to use as spacers and was then able to install. Just using hitch for bike carrier and small platform to bring yard waste to the dump.
Hitch is great! I loved that etrailer had local companies reach out to make the installation very easy. Received the product quickly - box didn't make it but that is to be expected with such a heavy item.
This is the 2nd hitch I've ordered from e-trailer. Both have been as advertised, pretty much plug & play with excellent install instructions.

Fitment was for a 2022 Acura RDX A-Spec SH-AWD. The installation is possible with one person, but two sets of hands would have made it a lot easier and less time-consuming. Releasing the muffler hangers was not necessary if you tilt the hitch receiver down about 90 degrees, as shown in the video installation guide. Once the hitch receiver is mounted to the frame, it extends about 4 inches past the rear bumper and presses against the bottom of the rear air diffuser. I'll have to spray on some touch-up paint since the finish got a little scratched up getting past the mufflers, but it's not a big deal. Overall, I'm pleased with the customer service, quality, and fitment.

Install looks great Derek! I go over my hitch once a year with a little Rust-Oleum spray paint to keep it looking fresh. What do you plan on using the hitch for?
Installed without removing muffler hangers. Drove the rear wheels up on ramps (front wheels chocked) to provide access. A second person (my wife) offered assistance -- not very much required and not strenuous at all, but I cannot imagine a solo install unless you happen to have three arms. Had to remove a touch of seam sealer in order to raise the hitch fully up and, after three bolts were in, had to jack up one corner slightly in order to thread the fourth bolt. Couldn't quite make the 60 lb-ft torque lying on my back beneath the hitch and will have a mechanic get it fully to spec at my next service -- but it is in quite solidly, and I am not worried about using my bike (non-electric) rack with it now. Altogether, I am pretty happy with this product.

Hey Vlad! I know sometimes you can get a sensor relocation kit for the kick sensor. We don't carry any but it may be worth a try to call your dealer to see if have something available for ya.
