Question:
Do you know if the Kodiak 225 will replace a Demco 13825 on a Demco Tow Dolly. I know you sell the Demco part but since they dont offer a rebuild kit from Demco, I would rather replace with one I can get parts for and not have to replace the whole caliper in the future. Any performance differences or quality differences? Thank you.

Hey Thomas, if your Kar Kaddy already has brakes you'd need to use Demco's Replacement Brake Caliper Assembly for Demco Tow Dollies # DM13825-92 for a replacement.
If your Kar Kaddy does not have brakes, then yes you can absolutely use the Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper # KDBC225DAC. You'd also need the rest of the kit # K2R35D, a hub # DM04369, a brake line kit # DM5424, and a mounting flange # 4-35. This flange would have to get welded on as well by a qualified professional.
If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to let me know!

Hey Thomas, how did things go with the brake setup on your Kar Kaddy? Did you end up using the Kodiak caliper or stick with the Demco replacement? Knowing what worked might help others trying to choose between those options.
