Replacement Load Stop and Hardware for Older TracRac SR Ladder Rack

Question:

Can you help me figure out what model I have? I’m helping the local volunteer fire department. One of their trucks have this system pictures attached. They need the load stops and base rail tie downs. We’ve ordered a couple different load stops but they are too big and won’t fit in the slide. I think it’s a Gen 1 or 2 SR model but not sure. They’ve had it for least 20 years so all the stickers are either gone or faded and can’t read. If you can have me with the model and maybe part numbers I’d appreciate it! Thank you

Hey Beth, thanks for reaching out!

Yes, what you have there is one of the 1st Gen models of the TracRac SR ladder rack. The correct load stop part number you're looking for is 01-23321, but this was discontinued back in 2022.

In order to get a load stop that works with the older SR style crossbars you'll need to get the newer load stop, part # 8537165, and modify the T-Slot part on it to fit your crossbars.

If you also need replacement hardware for the load stop then we have the Hand Knob # TAKB-90004 and T-Bolt # HD-80122 from the original kit that will work. I did see a review where someone had to add a washer under the hand knob to get it tightened down enough so you'll want to keep that in mind.

I'm not seeing that we have any of the base rail tie downs for the older rails so you'll have to get creative with that side of things.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
