This part replaces 1 hand-operated knob for your Thule TracRac XT ladder rack. It also works with the Thule Professional Ladder Tilt. The knob fits over a T-bolt and is used to tighten a load stop in place.

Hello neighbors. Welcome, today, I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at this replacement knob for the Thule Professional Ladder Tilt. Now folks, this will replace one hand knob for the Thule TracRac XT Ladder, or the Professional Ladder Tilt. You can see it's threaded in there. It does require an install over a T bolt.
That T bolt is not included, a T bolt is sold separately. And again, this basically tightens a load stop in place using that T bolt. That T bolt comes up through a groove in a channel, and then it would go on it and tighten it down. Not quite sure how I lost the last one but replacement was a perfect fit , just needed a washer. Etrailer rocks always seem to have what I need no matter how obscure the Thule part…highly recommend!

I looked for a replacement part at the hardware store but couldn’t find one that matched the thread. E trailer has fair prices and fast and reasonable shipping costs.
Great service from etrailer. Only complaint is the plastic looks slightly cheaper than the Thule product. Approximately the same size and it works though, so I'm happy!

Knob is still hanging in there. While the product looks to be made from a cheaper plastic, or isn’t showing any signs of becoming brittle or cracking from the Sun.

I lost one of the knobs from my Thule rack. I use the rack to carry my canoe and the knob was essential in positioning and securing the canoe properly on the rack. After a little bit of searching I found the proper replacement knob. The pictures of the various knobs offered by etrailer.com helped a lot in selecting the correct knob. The knob arrived in the mail a few days after placing the order and it fit perfectly. I am now a happy camper, er.."canoeist".
Exactly the knob I needed. Only 1 recommendation: when I was shopping etrailer for the knob, load-stop, and T-bolt, I found a combo pack on the web site with those 3 items sold together. I assumed they would all work together, so I ordered the pack, received it and went to install it on my rack, only to discover that the knob in the combo pack was a larger SAE thread than the metric-thread T-bolt, so they didn't work together. So, if you still have that combo pack listed on your website, you need to swap out the 1/4” SAE knob for the smaller metric-threaded knob that actually fits the T-bolt...
As for the fan, it's in perfect condition but I haven't installed it yet. However, it will replace Jayco's weenie 4-blade, 6-inch-diameter OEM fan in our trailer, so once it's in, I expect MUCH better performance. And the $[XX] price was a great deal. Thanks etrailer!

Knob works great, holding up well in the Florida sun.
