Question:
I have a gooseneck in the bed of my truck with a Recessed ball. The top of the ball is 1inch below the surface of the bed. I need a solution for going from gooseneck to fifth wheel often. Was looking at the Demco, however it states the lowest the ball can be is 13/16inch below the deck. Is there another possible solution? Thank you.

Hey Andrew, we have just what you need with the Demco Recon part # DM93YV which can work with balls that are up to 1-5/8 inches below the deck surface. Since yours is 1 inch this would work perfect. The Recon hitches have really nice jaw systems too that holds the king pin tightly as well.

Hey Andrew, how did the Demco Recon work out with your recessed gooseneck ball setup? It sounds like it should have been a good match for the 1‑inch depth. Sharing how it performed could help others switching between gooseneck and fifth wheel towing.
