Question:
I have a flatbed with a 24 inch trough and a welded in gooseball. Is there a 5th wheel hitch to attach to ball. Thanks

Unfortunately, there is not Ronnie but I have a couple of alternatives. The trough on your truck is too wide to use the Demco Recon item # DM8550046, which works with recessed gooseneck balls. It's also not wide enough to use a gooseneck 5th wheel adapter like item # DM8550045.
That leaves two options, the first and easiest is to use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter item # CAB-C5G. This adapter will bolt to your trailer's king pin and then connects to the gooseneck ball on your truck, eliminating the need for a 5th wheel hitch. It features a 20,000 lbs towing capacity and has an adjustable height from 12" to 16".
The other option is to replace your 5th wheel trailer's kingpin pin box with a gooseneck one like the Gen-Y Hitch Nomad item # GY57ND. These are bolt pattern specific so I would need the the information on the sticker that's attached to your current pin box. The sticker should say date of manufacture, weight capacity, and have some form of RPO, LCI, or serial number on it. If you could email me a picture of it or carefully put all that information where it says Add Comment, I can find the right gooseneck pin box for you.
What kind of 5th wheel trailer do you have and is your flatbed truck going to be the primary vehicle pulling it? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Convert a ball works good. Put blue lock tite on bolt threads

I use the Convert-a-ball 5th wheel to goose neck adapter and have been happy with it. I didn't want a fifth wheel hitch in my truck as I use the bed a lot and my other trailer needs the goose neck ball. This was a good all around solution.
