TorkLift Camper Tie Downs For 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 With Factory Running Boards

Question:

We have a 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 with factory running boards… will these fit with the factory running boards in place? Are these fairly easy to diy install? Thanks!

Hello Sheri, thanks for reaching out. The TorkLift Tie Downs # TL79VV will fit the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500, as long as your factory running boards are cab length only. If they extend beyond the cab to the wheel, they will obstruct the tie downs, but as long as they are cab length you will be good to go.

As far as installation, They are a no-drill install, since the necessary holes are already present. As long as you have the proper tools and a bit of know-how it can definitely be a DIY project. I would expect it to take a few hours to do all 4 tie down points. Definitely could be done in an afternoon (depending how many adult beverages you have while you are working on it LOL).
