Availability of Roadmaster Base Plate Kit that Fits 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2

Question:
It is now Dec.19th 2024. I am looking at 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2s. I have a Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 towbar. Does roadmaster make a baseplate for the 2024 ZR2s yet?

Hey Lynn, I have so good news! So the Roadmaster base plate kit part # RM28GR does fit your 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2. It only doesn't fit the ZR2 Bison models.

I’m currently looking at a 2024 Chevy Colorado Bison, but have read that no base plates fit the front bumper that comes on this model. Is it a clearance issue with the bumper? Could these base plates be made to work if I were willing to do some cutting on the AEV bumper. Thanks!
