Can The Progressive Dynamics PD4045CSV Properly charge LiFePO4 Batteries

Question:

Just want to make sure that the PD4045csv will properly charge a LiFeP04 lithium battery. All of your literature just refers to lithium batteries.

Hey Gary,

The Replacement Converter Section # PD4045CSV can properly charge your LiFePO4 as long as you have the switch or black jumper (depending on the when yours was manufactured) in the "LI" position. If you're buying new it should have the switch but if this was an older model without the switch you'd see the little white plastic part in the same spot that has metal prongs sticking up out of it. There will be a little black jumper on these posts that would just need to be put in the "LI" position to properly charge the battery.

Hey Gary, how did things go with setting the PD4045CSV to the LI position for your LiFePO4 battery? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up the same converter.
