Question:
Class C Chinook Concourse 2001 Replaced converter charger and power center with PD4645V in 2015. As best as I can tell, the PD4645V at that time was not rated for lithium. Will the PD4045CSV work with my PD4645V?

Hi Wayne; Progressive Dynamics updated there parts to be lithium compatible a couple years back but that was after 2015 so I'm sure you're right, your PD4645V is not lithium compatible. The # PD4045CSV is designed as a replacement for the # PD4045KA. You will need an entirely new # PD4645V to use lithium batteries.
Since you said you replaced the power center I would double check your part numbers before getting the replacement. PD4645V is the replacement section for certain Parallax, Magnetek, and WFCO models, not a full power center. If you have a Progressive Dynamics power center it must be a different model and may have a different converter section available.

Hey Wayne, did you get a chance to confirm which power center model you have before moving forward with a new converter section? Knowing how that check went could help others sorting out similar Progressive Dynamics setups.
