I have just bought a 19 foot travel trailer Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser 19ERD. It weighs slightly over 3,000 lbs. I am interested in a recommendation for an appropriate hitch with Weight Distribution, and sway control.

For your Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser 19ERD, I recommend using the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37060ET which is rated for a total tongue weight of 200 lbs - 600 lbs. The total tongue weight is the tongue weight of the loaded and ready to tow trailer added to any cargo stored behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System is considered to be one of the best systems on the maret. It has a four point sway control system which is unlike many others that only have two point sway control and it comes with a lifetime warranty. The only thing you need to use this system is a hitch ball, part # EQ91-00-6080 for 2" or part # EQ91-00-6100 for 2-5/16".
