What power adapters are available for 2025 GM trucks without a 12v power outlet in the cab to power the monitor?

Hello Bernie.

There is not an adapter at this time, it would be nice if they had one to go into a USB port. Your best option at this time would be to install the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332 in your 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500. I have included an install video on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500, install would be the same.

Hey Bernie, how did things go after adding the 12-volt outlet kit to your Silverado 3500 for the Furrion Vision S camera monitor? Knowing what worked might help others trying to power their monitors in newer GM trucks.

@KateF It didn't work. No 12v on the output. I cut off the heat shrink thinking it must be as simple as a bad solder joint but it appears the open circuit is in the board itself. The circuit (which is just a cap and I believe a resistor) is simply open. This specific one is defective. I am most disappointed in the cost of this item given it's about a dollar in components. If etrailer wants to send a replacement, I'll try another, otherwise we'll deal with the intermittent camera when we need it.

@BernieL I am only seeing the order for the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems - Hardwire # VGR64VR and not the # RM-9332 12 Volt Outlet we spoke about. Did you end up finding a 12V in your 3500? Are you referring to the # VGR64V not working?

@KateF Yes, I am commenting on the VGR64V that i purchased in December 2025. I added a 12v outlet myself from my spare parts bin to power the camera monitor.
