Question:
You are a sponsor of Big Truck big RV YouTube channel. My question pertains to the Furrion Chill Cube he made a video about, in which he mentions a low energy low profile version soon to be released. Do you have any information about the low energy variant? I see the Chill Cube is now available for sale on your website hoping the newer more energy efficient isnt to far behind. Thanks for your response to my question much appreciated.

Hello Steve.
The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner - Ductless - 18,000 BTU - Black # LC22BX is the unit that they install on Big Truck Big RV, this is a preorder item that we are very excited to have available starting Jan 30th 2025.
It is amazing that Furrion was able to come up with a 18,000 BTU AC unit that requires using less energy than the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup - 15,000 Btu - Black # FR32PV.
Their 15,000 BTU model has a 15.8 amps power draw while running, and this new 18,000 BTU only has a 11.6 amps power draw while running.
My favorite feature about this AC unit is the wireless thermostat. I feel like there is always that one spot that you need a little cooler in your camper, with the wireless thermostat it reads the temperature in whatever spot you have it in. So if you want your bed a little cooler for a good sleep, no problem, just take the thermostat to that area and the AC will stay on til that area is at your desired temperature.
