Replacement Furrion Chill Cube to Replace a Coleman A/C

Question:

Re Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - Black - R32 I am looking to swap out the Coleman a/c on my 2017 cougar fifth wheel with this unit. What additional parts do I need to install this unit? Thanks

Hey Rick! To swap out your Coleman AC with one of the new Furrion Chill Cube units we have a couple of options for you that include everything you'll need. You have to swap out your Coleman air distribution box because the older stuff isn't compatible anymore due to the new R32 refrigerant.

If you have a ducted system you will want the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box item # FR39TD.

If you have a ductless system you'll need the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box item # FR27TD.

If your RV has a furnace you'll have to install the Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box item # FR49TD, which includes the thermostat you'll need to control your furnace.
