Will there be or is there a chill cube with a heat pump? 2. can it be used non duct unit be used without and or with ducts like the dometic I have now? 3. would 2 of these 18000 but units be to much? 4. extended warranty? thanks Bob

Hey Bob! The Chill Cubes like item # LC22BX do not have a heat pump. This may change upon their release but as of 11/18/2024 the answer to that question is going to be no.
There's a couple of different options of the Chill Cube as far as ducted and ductless set ups go. The item # LC22BX is designed for a ductless set up. The item # LC34DX is set up to work with ducted systems. So you'll need to decide which way you want to go before purchasing because they won't go both ways.
I am not sure what climate you're going to be staying in but using two of the Chill Cubes like item # LC22BX does not sound like overkill to me in a 38' RV. These are 18,000 BTU energy-efficient AC systems so you're going to be pretty comfortable even in the hottest climates.
I can not answer your question about an extended warranty because that information hasn't been released to us and is not posted on Lippert's website.

Hey Bob, how did things go with the Chill Cube units for your motor home? Did you end up choosing the ducted or ductless setup? Your update could make it easier for others deciding between the two.
