Question:

Hi Will this rack work for a 2024 Honda CRV that has Class 3 Curt hitch with 2inch receiver? I have 2 Velotric e-bikes that Ill be transporting with batteries removed. Max weight is 65 pounds on one bike, 48 pounds on the other thats with batteries. It will tilt back so i can operate the bsck hatch/ life gate?

Hey Jen, thanks for the information. The Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack item # HLY66ZR is going to work great with your 2024 Honda CRV and your two Velotric e-bikes. The hitch pin hole on the Curt item # C13397 sits about 3-1/2" away from the edge of your CRV's bumper. The closest portion of the Destination E Bike Rack item # HLY66ZR is going to be 7-1/2" from the hitch pin hole when it's folded up and 10" when it's in use.

The Destination E Bike Rack item # HLY66ZR has a 70 lbs per bike capacity and fits tires up to 4-1/2" wide. The padded clamps will connect to your e-bike's seat posts for a secure grip. The included ramp will help with loading and unloading your heavy bikes.

The tilt feature of the Destination E Bike Rack item # HLY66ZR should allow you to open your back hatch with zero clearance issues. We haven't had a chance to test it on a 2024 CRV but it worked great on a 2022.

Please note it is recommended to remove your battery's when transporting your e-bikes on a bike rack. Those lithium batteries like to explode in collisions.
